A graduate of Central Methodist University, Ann began her career as an auditor, but soon switched to practice in tax law. She received her master’s degree in taxation in 1999 and recently became one of only 250 certified public accountants credentialed to represent clients in the U.S. Tax Court. These credentials give Ann unique insights that prove invaluable when defending tax cases. Additionally, Ann has access to a national network of professionals that practice in this space, and that network extends to both the executive and judicial branches of the United States government.
Ann brings proven skill sets to both small are large tax audit cases, including the representation of clients with international operations. She has resolved major cases through her close relationships with the Internal Revenue Service Taxpayer Advocate service and her acute feel for client advocacy with the IRS.
In addition to her advocacy skills, Ann has a broad background in taxation, representing major clients and their owners in the energy, real estate, professional services, and manufacturing markets. Prior to joining Holsinger in 2007, Ann worked for several firms in the Midwest and Southeast.
Ann’s strengths include her critical thinking and problem solving to bring her client’s the most advantageous tax result.
